Team—
I know you all just wrapped up your meeting - I hope you’re as excited as I am with the positive developments. Previously I sent you all a message, I mentioned the following: “I am confident in this group. You all are some of the most driven and creative developers we have had the opportunity to work with - and we’re eager for that relationship to persist.”
Through your commitment and versatility, particularly over the last year, you repeatedly show that.
The community feedback from last fall’s Project ETHOS playtest was informative. It affirmed the promise of a action-packed game but made clear we still had improvements to make. It revealed the need for a sharper brand.
It has been motivating to see how far you’ve progressed. You accepted the feedback to consideration and overhauled the title with a revitalized direction - one that’s ready to fulfill its ambition to our audience.
The belief in Project ETHOS strengthens every day. To advance the remarkable development you’ve made, I’m excited to welcome Ben Brinkman as the new Director of the team. Following some time of conversations, he comes aboard us on the specified date.
His leadership and experience in the competitive gaming genre is extensive, having dedicated the last 15 years producing and overseeing some of the most popular titles in the industry, for example the acclaimed shooter, and most recently, Apex Legends.
Let’s together in receiving Ben next week. We are all eager to continue observing the development of Project ETHOS in the time to follow.
David
