The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of characters, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in strength within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the third episode of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and presented the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

With a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might seem mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, entering the secret base, attacking the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then settled his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires revenge.
  • Kattigan knows the region and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to execute the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as key figures in the influential clan could help the party enter locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him wherever.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are sought by the powers that control the city for a range of causes, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This results in them little choice but to head to the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Questers and Planners parties.

Fans can look forward to discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
